If you’re having trouble connecting to the internet, there could be a few reasons. Try the following troubleshooting steps based on common connectivity issues:
Check Your eSIM Activation
Make sure your eSIM is properly installed and active. If you’re not sure, go to your device’s network settings and ensure the eSIM shows as "active."
Verify Data Settings and APN
Ensure the Access Point Name (APN) is set to globaldata. This is essential for internet connectivity. For instructions on setting the APN, refer to our eSIM installation guide.
Confirm Data Plan Status
Check that your data plan is active and not expired. If your plan has expired, contact BambooSIM support to purchase a top-up.
Enable Data Roaming
If you’re traveling, make sure Data Roaming is enabled on your device. This setting is usually found in your device’s network or cellular settings.
Restart Your Device
A simple restart can often resolve connectivity issues. Power off your device, wait a moment, and power it back on.
Check Signal Strength
Ensure you’re in an area with strong cellular reception. Buildings, basements, and rural areas may have weaker signal strength.
