1. Eligibility
1.1 This complimentary eSIM offer (“Offer”) is exclusively available to passengers of Singapore Airlines who are new users of BambooSIM.
1.2 For the purposes of this Offer, “new user” means an individual who:
- has never created a BambooSIM account; and
- has never made a purchase from BambooSIM; and
- has never redeemed or used any BambooSIM referral code previously.
1.3 The Offer is valid for registrations and redemptions made on or before 8 March 2026.
1.4 BambooSIM reserves the right to request proof of eligibility (including proof of a valid Singapore Airlines booking) and to refuse or cancel redemptions that do not meet these Terms & Conditions.
2. Device Compatibility (Important – Check Before Redeeming)
2.1 The complimentary eSIM requires an unlocked, eSIM-compatible mobile device.
2.2 Users must ensure their device is eSIM compatible and unlocked before attempting to redeem or activate the Offer.
2.3 Device compatibility can be checked via the BambooSIM device compatibility information on BambooSIM’s website.
2.4 BambooSIM is not responsible for any inability to redeem, download, install, or use the eSIM due to device incompatibility, SIM lock restrictions, or incorrect device settings. The Offer will not be reissued or exchanged in such cases.
3. Redemption
3.1 Redemption Limits
The Offer is strictly limited to one (1) redemption per person, defined as:
- one (1) BambooSIM account;
- one (1) eligible mobile device; and
- one (1) Singapore Airlines booking.
Additional limits:
- One per customer: Each individual may redeem this Offer only once.
- One per device: The complimentary eSIM may only be provisioned to a single eSIM-compatible device and cannot be duplicated across devices.
- One-time offer: If you have previously used any BambooSIM referral code or offer (including non–Singapore Airlines offers), you are not eligible for this Offer.
- The Offer cannot be combined, stacked, or used together with any other promotion, discount, voucher, or referral code.
3.2 How to Redeem – Option 1: Promo Code at Sign-Up
After confirming device compatibility, eligible customers may redeem the Offer as follows:
- Visit the designated Singapore Airlines x BambooSIM promotion landing page.
- Select an eligible destination country (one that Singapore Airlines flies to and is supported by BambooSIM) to receive a promo code.
- Download the BambooSIM mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Sign up for a new BambooSIM account.
- During registration, enter the promo code in the “Referral Code” field.
- Upon successful registration and verification of eligibility, the complimentary eSIM will be automatically added to the user’s BambooSIM account.
If the promo code is not entered at the time of sign-up, the Offer may not be applied under this Option 1. However, users may still be eligible under Option 2 below, subject to the same eligibility and one-time-use rules.
3.3 How to Redeem – Option 2: Purchase + Contact Support
As an alternative, eligible new users who did not redeem via Option 1 may:
- Create a new BambooSIM account (if they have not already done so).
- Purchase a new eSIM plan as their first purchase on BambooSIM.
- Contact BambooSIM customer support (via the contact channels listed in the app or on the website) and provide:
- their BambooSIM account details;
- proof of their eligible Singapore Airlines booking; and
- any other information reasonably requested by BambooSIM to verify eligibility.
Upon successful verification that:
- the user meets the Eligibility criteria in Section 1;
- the user has not previously redeemed any BambooSIM referral offer on that device or account; and
- this is the user’s first redemption under this Offer,
BambooSIM will add 1GB of complimentary data to an eligible eSIM plan in the user’s BambooSIM account.
This Option 2 is still subject to all the limits set out in Section 3.1, including one per customer, one per device, and one-time offer.
4. Offer Details
4.1 Eligible users will receive 1GB of complimentary mobile data, which may be:
- included via a complimentary eSIM issued under Option 1; or
- added as 1GB of complimentary data to an eligible eSIM plan under Option 2.
4.2 The 1GB of complimentary data is valid for 7 consecutive days from the time of first activation of the relevant eSIM.
4.3 The complimentary eSIM and/or complimentary data:
- are available only in BambooSIM’s supported destinations that are also served by Singapore Airlines;
- are tied to the destination and plan type selected in accordance with the redemption method used.
4.4 Users may top up additional data on their eSIM.
- Any extra data must be purchased directly through the BambooSIM app or website.
- No discounts on top-ups are provided as part of this Offer.
5. Rules and Restrictions
5.1 The complimentary eSIM and any complimentary data granted under this Offer:
- are non-transferable;
- may not be sold, exchanged, refunded, or converted into cash, credit, or any other benefit;
- may only be redeemed once per eligible user, per device, per Singapore Airlines booking, in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
5.2 If BambooSIM identifies or reasonably suspects fraud, misuse, abuse, or breach of these Terms & Conditions (including attempts to redeem multiple times, using fake accounts, or misrepresenting eligibility), BambooSIM may, at its sole discretion:
- cancel or revoke the complimentary eSIM and/or complimentary data;
- suspend or terminate the BambooSIM account(s) involved; and/or
- refuse future participation in any BambooSIM promotions.
5.3 Network coverage, speed, and service quality may vary by location, operator, and other conditions. BambooSIM is not liable for any service interruptions or limitations caused by third-party network providers.
6. Additional Terms
6.1 Use of the complimentary eSIM, complimentary data, and the BambooSIM app is subject to:
- BambooSIM’s Terms of Service; and
- BambooSIM’s Privacy Policy,
as amended from time to time and available on BambooSIM’s website.
6.2 BambooSIM reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate this Offer, or to update these Terms & Conditions, at any time without prior notice, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
6.3 In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms & Conditions and any marketing or promotional materials relating to this Offer, these Terms & Conditions shall prevail.
7. Definitions
- “New user”: An individual who has not previously created a BambooSIM account, has not made any prior purchases from BambooSIM, and has not redeemed or used any BambooSIM referral code or referral offer.
- “Complimentary eSIM / complimentary data”: The 1GB, 7-day data benefit provided under this Offer, whether issued as a standalone eSIM (Option 1) or added to an eligible eSIM plan (Option 2), for use only in supported destinations as specified by BambooSIM.
- “Singapore Airlines booking”: A confirmed and valid booking on a flight operated by Singapore Airlines.
