Wi-Fi calling uses a supported carrier phone line over Wi-Fi. It is different from WhatsApp, FaceTime or other internet calling apps. On a data-only BambooSIM plan, ordinary calls and SMS are not included; Wi-Fi calling on your usual number depends on your home carrier, plan and device. Some BambooSIM bundles include a number and carrier services—see calls and messages by plan.
Check with your home carrier whether Wi-Fi calling works overseas and how calls and SMS are charged. Do not assume it is free or that it will work over the travel eSIM's mobile data. If you need bank codes, confirm that the carrier and bank support your setup before departure.
